Caden's 5th Birthday Party

Caden's birthday party was a complete success! I am pretty sure that everyone had a good time and of course Caden raked in the presents. Caden declared Wilson his official " present opener helper" and of course Wilson had no problem with that. As you can see he got Guitar Hero from Gaga, ( momma and daddy really like that one too) and he also got a gameboy from Aunt April. Overall the day was wonderful (and HOT)! Oh my goodness I can't believe he's 5!!!!

After the party Caden wanted to go to Los Tres Amigos ( his favorite place) to eat. So we loaded all the fam in the car and went. They sang happy birthday to him while he wore the biggest sombrarro I have ever seen and he loved every minute of it. Of course not to be out cuted Kelsey had to get in on the action. Aren't they the cutest things you've ever seen? Again, a very successful day... thank goodness it's over I'm exhausted!

Rainbow!

We recieved a little rain the other day here and of course the best rainbow ever! Caden actually took that pic of Keith ( quite the little photographer) My kids love rainbows and I have to say I don't mind them myself!

KMACS Rockin OUT!

We went to some friends of ours house on July 5th and had a BBQ. Susan and Isaac are our friends from church and they are awesome! They of course have the playstation game Rock Band and my children had to try it out! I have to say maybe they have a future in the music biz! They didn't hold anything back rockin out! They are already pros. So now Caden thinks that Mr. Isaac is the coolest dude ever because he has Rock band. Look at Caden go on that guitar! Kelsey I have to say is the prettiest drummer I've ever seen!

4th of July

I LOVE AMERICA...... don't we all! On the 4th of July we went to a local celebration at the park (along with 20,000 other people)! The kids were so excited to see fireworks and have some snowcones.(yum yum don't they look good!) We had to dress alike, what else do we do on the 4th! Overall we had a wonderful holiday and the kids weren't even scared of the fireworks. Thank goodness! It is a day like this I always thank God for my beautiful family and the chance to spend this valuable time with them! Thank God for our country and for the men and women that defend it! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Look at my men! Aren't they adorable! I am so lucky!

McIsaac Water Park

Our new favorite thing... WATER!!!! The kids had a blast playing outside in the water last night.
They were getting kinda bored until we let them chase eachother around with the water hose, and the both of them loved it! They just thought it was hilarious when they would catch eachother and get totally soaked. Of course the boy in Caden came out as you can see from the picture, he thought he was so smart that "he" figured out that it looked like he was "peeing" Of course Kelsey soon followed with the same thing. Hopefully we can get some pics on here of the kids in the big swimming pool at my mom's. They are getting close to getting their pool open. So pool party at mom's house!! :O) Hope you enjoy the pics and the video. I know Keith and I had a blast watching them have so much fun, and actually not fighting!

Enjoying the Weather

Tonight the weather here was wonderful, we thought there might be rain coming so we took the kids outside to enjoy the cool breeze. They got these new bouncy ball things and so we let them try them out. At first all they did was bounce once and then bounce off. They got the hang of it after a while. Kelsey had more patience for it than Caden did, hence the pics of her and not of him bouncing! After that they of course had to get everything else out of the garage, Caden is getting much better at riding his bike and of course him and Dad had to get in a game of b-ball( with the soccer ball) If you notice I actually took the picture at the exact moment the ball was going into the basket... yes I was amazed as well. We all had fun enjoying the weather and spending time together outside.
A quick thank you to my wonderful husband for setting up our blog ( we are finally in the 21st century now) and now maybe our friends will stop telling us that we need to get a blog or facebook or something!! hahaha Anyway, thanks again to my hubby!

Cameron Baptist Block Party

We all had fun at the Cameron Baptist Block Party. There were tons of people there, so that was good for the church. They had exotic animals to see as well. As you can see, Kim had a large bird on her shoulder for a while until it started nibbling on her ear. Caden got on the fire truck for a while. We all went into the Lawton Fire Dept smoke house to learn how to escape a fire. However, one the lights turned out and the smoked started, Caden froze and cried, so they had to drag him out. The kids enjoyed playing in Kim's VBS room that she put together.

Fun Saturday at Fort Sill

Caden and Phillip had a great time at Fort Sill. They had free food and drinks as well as plenty of police cars. Caden and Phillip sat in the front of the Medicine Park Dodge Charger police car for a while as they played with the sirens by themselves. They also sat in the back of the K9 truck for a little while. They rode their bikes and they got ID cards. He was VERY tired after that, but he hung on through the rest of the day.

Trina's Birthday!!!

Kim, myself, and the kids had an awesome time at Trina's birthday party. Trent gave all the kids instructions on how to dig for objects in the sand pile. The kids played in the water for a while, they jumped on the trampoline, and they went up and down the slide. They had a blast and were very tired when they got home.

Armed Forces Day Parade

The kids enjoyed the Armed Forces Day parade this year. The city of Lawton changed the route and time this year, so it was on a Saturday morning instead of a blazing hot Friday afternoon. We found a nice, shady spot and were able to watch the entire parade without any problems. We exchanged some bubbles for a flag from some people next to us.

Arts for All

Caden and Kelsey take a break at the Arts for All Festival. This is actually one of the best pictures of both of them together. We also found some flowers for them to take pictures with, and they came out really well.
